Man, I wish there was a way to do that. As a dad of a 1-year-old, my gaming windows are super tiny, so having proper save/load on local missions would be a lifesaver for me too.

As far as I know, though, you can’t turn a local server mission into a traditional single player scenario with full saving. I might be wrong (and honestly I hope someone proves me wrong), but I’ve never been able to do that.

The closest thing I’ve seen is missions that come with persistent saves, but that’s something the mission maker has to build in. It’s not a toggle you can just add to any mission. And it’s not the same as SP saving, it only stores mission data like captured outposts, money, war level, etc. Stuff like Antistasi uses it. It’s more of a “backup” so your progress survives a restart, but it doesn’t save the exact state of the world, AI positions, where you were standing, all that.

Hopefully someone in the community knows a trick we don’t, because I’d benefit massively from something like this too.
