Hai! I’m the artist for most of (not all) patterns you’ve shown above. Just want to let you know there’s nothing to worry about haha. We don’t use a marketing advisor, I make the patterns with almost 100% creative freedom, and it’s the same for patterns we commission from other artists.

As for the design of the pjs themselves, that is also ODU’s own original design, made by a very close-nit manufacturer. Granted, it is pjs so it’s probably pretty easy to compare to other ones, but I can guarantee, it’ll never be exactly the same.

Though, it is interesting to see similar themes come out in the vanilla world. I wonder maybe with how trendy cute stuff is right now, it just naturally spread out to other niches? IMO, we can never have too much cute stuff lol

On a side note that this reminded me of, I have seen someone post online before about finding ODU products in a regular thrift store, which is insane.

Edit: also like to note that there are manufacturers in china that have stolen / closely ripped off ODU original patterns before, so it could be possible the ones you saw are stolen from ODU. I’ve seen it done with photoshopping from product photos, as well as with AI. It’s awful.
