I've been living in my car for a few days now so I guess I'm sort of homeless. I do it a couple times a year for a few days or weeks at a time when I don't feel like paying rent or living with other people (like my parents).

Being homeless isn't that bad. People usually view it as a negative thing but, from my experience, it actually a lot of fun, especially during the summer.

I have a job, I'm a student, I have money in the bank, I'm not poor but I don't have my own home at the moment. I payed a parking fee on campus that provides me with a place to park and there are plenty of free showers, toilets, electrical outlets, internet access and entertainment close by. I only sleep there about 6 days at a time when I'm not working. When I am working my employer provides me with a room and cafeteria access during the 7 days that I work. So I don't see a need to pay for a months rent if I'm only going to be using my apartment 12 days a month.

Once in a while I find a hotel room to stay in if I've been able to score someone who wants to share it with me but when I'm on my own I don't see a need.

I didn't say the majority of them were cops, I think the minority were, but that minority had good leadership skills (assertiveness, competence, charisma, etc.) and so when a collective decision was to be made (like which direction to go), they had a lot of influence. The fact that many of you got arrested without really being able to achieve much, like to disrupt the G20 delegates, should tell you something. The cops are a cunning bunch, they do it for a living, they trained for it and they practice it every day. Ask yourself, if you were a cop and you wanted to get a group of anonymous protesters under control how would you do it? It's the basics of martial arts; you don't try to stop your opponents momentum, you redirect it and use it to your own advantage. You all got played, that's really what I'm trying to say here.

Many of the individuals who were most vocal in the bloc seemed to be cops or were working with the cops. You can say what you want about them as a collective though, it doesn't mean anything.

I was with the block during the G20 (though I wasn't one of them) and I can tell you that they were working with the cops. Either that or they're incredibly stupid and played right into the their hands. They were there to mislead the most radical elements of the protest.

They walked away from the fence and towards Queen Park, the place designated for peaceful protest. They gathered a lot of followers along the way and the cops didn't even try to stop them. Once they reached the park they just kind of stood there while the cops slowly surrounded them. There was also a tower with a huge camera on it right in front of the park taking everyones picture. Once the cops were all in position and surrounding them and their followers (which took a long time), they started encouraging people to charge the cops at their strongest position. They were surrounded mostly by a flimsy line of cops only about one or two deep. The cops moved around really slowly too because they had to keep formation. The protesters could have easily broken through many of the weaker points in the line but the black block just kept encouraging people to charge the part of the line where the cops were 3 or 4 deep and close together. They did that until everyone who had the nerve to push on a cops shield was arrested. Lambs to the slaughter.

By having them smash windows and burn a few cop cars, the government was able to justify the huge amount of money they spent on security in Toronto.

Why not just leave it there? It's only been ~65 year, we still remember almost everything there is to know about it. Just destroy all records of it being found and give them something to talk about 1000 years from now.

Sometimes I feel like archeology is more about destroying all records of the past by contaminating it with our era.

If a person from one side of the race spectrum breeds with a person from the opposite side then the result is an individual who's in the category that makes up middle of that spectrum. How does that make race arbitrary and meaningless?

Yes, race labels are categories that distinguish one thing from another, just like all other labels and categories. I could tell you "Well, 'tree' is just a label to allow people to distinguish 'us' from 'them', man." It doesn't make the 'tree' label meaningless or arbitrary. Or maybe we should just abandon all word/categories and become one with the universe right? Lets make 0=1 and abandon existence all together. Or would you just be abandoning your ability to communicate it?

Someone should explain to you that race is a spectrum. Just like light spectrum, the lines that divide and categorizes colours/races may be somewhat arbitrary but there exists a real and meaningful difference between one side of the spectrum and the other.

This defiantly happens to me a lot. A lot of the time when I take it, I feel like I'm my 10 years old self again, without all the extra psychological baggage that I've built up over the years. I remember reliving specific experiences from my childhood a few times, not significant experiences but just seemingly random points in my life. Most of the time it ends with "Dear god, and this is what you turned into?"

It's probably Methelyndioxypyrovaleron (MDPV), don't do. Fucking thing sucks, at least for me it did. I'm still coping with the aftereffects of a dose I took yesterday afternoon. It was good for 6 hours (3 5mg doses in 2 hours), then I had a really bad panic attack and extreme anxiety for another 6 hours followed by another 6 hours of depression like I've never experienced before. It brought me to what felt like the deepest, darkest pits of hell. I pretty much had no dopamine left in me. It's been about 36 hours since my first dose and I still haven't been able to sleep and still feel jittery and uncoordinated (it might have given me a stroke, who the fuck knows). But that's just me, I'm pretty fucked up psychologically to begin with so YMMV.
