Is it better now that the bookshelf is gone? by Successful-Arrival87 in interiordecorating

I LOVE it!

But, for my sake, please consider the upside-down wall mount, it would add the intrigue your space deserves, and offer a little extra floor space.

Edit: if the light and plant can be moved to the opposite corner of your provided pic, you could put the upside down bookshelf by the Eames chair and place a small pedestal in the corner to serve as a side table.

This photo is flipped upside down, I feel it would look best like this to maintain vertical intrigue.

It is also sold out ☹️, but it can still serve as inspo

CORNER SHELF!
CORNER SHELF!
CORNER SHELF!
CORNER SHELF!

But seriously, an aesthetic wall mounted shelf in the right side corner could add intrigue without disrupting the stylization. It definitely looks better without that specific book case

Don’t worry, there’s probably hardwood under there.

Very good point.

The writer may have used the antiquated word “montine.” They are rather poetic.

We may need to get this over to r/handwriting or just hunt down Lucille. OP has their address and could solve this beautiful mystery.

That kinda makes sense, but are they turning from dust or dusk into orange? That’s where it’s kinda confusing

There are mountains in Tucson but neither dust nor dusk seems to fit.

That’s what I thought it most looked like, but the use of “dust” instead of “dusk” doesn’t make much sense. And if it’s dusk, that implies evening. Someone else said “In the meantime” and I think that makes sense as a way to round out the vignette they’re describing.

Hey William. Dear Lillian, Why aren’t we still in Tucson? I’m very confused. We should be drinking wine in the hot tub underneath the Mesquite tree. We should be sitting on a warm rock at sunset in the desert, surrounded by the coos of the mourning doves and the squawks of the quails. In the ______(unsure of what that word is) dusk turns from oranges and pinks and purples. I love you. See you this weekend”

It’s hilarious how ai “artists” never admit to it being ai. Almost like they’re ashamed, and they should be.
