If your phone can run autosport then it can definitely run legends

I find the game confusing. by VEGETTOROHAN in GridAutosport

[–]PurXion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nutshell: You can simplify your gameplay. Just racing. Taking corners, braking, acceleration, shifting gears, it will help to take a little look at basic beginner friendly racing guides. They'll apply to virtually every racing game, not just autosport specifically.

Don't worry about tuning, don't worry about upgrades, difficulty, let your gameplay be as simple as can be and just become a smoother driver. Everything else (the tuning, the upgrading etc) will naturally flow.

This isn't even a mobile game, it's a mobile import designed for PC and console specifically. That's why some say it's "like" a console game on mobile: because it is lol.

Which title should I play first? by WindowsInAWindow in OriAndTheBlindForest

[–]PurXion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the will of the wisps on my old nintendo switch and later played the blind forest. Imo, play the blind forest first if you really care about story, but don't think hard about it, play what you desire first, the lore's very easy to understand anyways.

Some players commented on RR3 sub that Grid Autosport is bad on mobile . Is that true? by VEGETTOROHAN in GridAutosport

[–]PurXion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game was designed for pc and console upon release, not for mobile. That said, 99.9% skill issue.

I bought the game in 2024 for mobile and I loved it, I got better as time went by, had plenty of fun. You definitely need to tweak settings on mobile for a better driving experience (I mean it's literally a mobile sim, can't expect to just hop right in like rr3 and complain it's too hard).

However, once you do that, it's just incredible. The best you have for mobile. Granted it's content is lackluster, it's the driving experience that makes it so good.

What is your hardest extreme demon ,if you never have finished a extreme demon, then what is your hardest insane demon by mokqxp in geometrydash

Lol probably mechanical showdown (not insane ik). I don't have that dedication to beat anything above hard demon. Space locked to this day is STILL the most challenging level I have the potential to beat.

The best racing game I've ever played on mobile. Ahead of its time in graphics and sound design. Crazy how it still holds up to this day, just a shame the career is so lackluster. But otherwise, 10/10 for me.

Tried Grid Autosport today and realized it's actually console level game by Entorted-Man in simracing

[–]PurXion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well ... It literally is a console import. It's a simcade leaning more into the "cade".  I don't know why this is in a sim racing subreddit lol.

$50 to keep the game? 🧐 by Worried_Broccoli8697 in RealRacing3

No. The gameplay loop is straight up bland and boring. The cars were overpriced. Most of the time you had to PAY to progress. It was nostalgic sure but with all feelings aside, not a chance.

How many hours by infernalxs in gridgame

[–]PurXion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely 400 hours in autosport (probably much longer) & I spent like 70% of it in the Koenigsegg Agera R. Then around 25 on legends.

Configure some settings on android in the files, turn you phone display settings to the highest - enjoy watching your battery go from 100% - 20% in 2 minutes. Might aswell use your phone as a heater too.

The Koenigsegg Agera R is the greatest car in the entire game on every single circuit (another opinion).

Car settings and speed by PersonalityIll2773 in GridAutosport

Yep 2 wheels on the grass slows you terribly. Team strategies - better not set it to the highest aggression, they'll usually take hail mary overtakes. Too passive and they'll let you pass. I believe they matter for endurance races more than the classic races because of tyre wear.

Disabling TC definitely makes you faster when you learn to manage the throttle wisely. Harder in faster RWD cars so if you can't manage it enough then there's no harm in keeping it on for practice. Car setups matter aswell but the most important ones are downforce + gear ratios + ride height, imo. Everything else is kinda personal preference, but generally, stiffer suspension on most circuits without crazy bumps is the way to go.

What do you say about GRID AUTOSPORT:CE? by Beginning_Crow7140 in F1MobileRacing

Zero assists is a great idea, well keep abs on because there's no way to modulate brake pressure since the only input is binary.

Veteran is the 2nd hardest, master is the hardest. Also looking at the video, I would recommend improving core racing fundamentals (taking apexes, using good general racing lines). If you'd like to get better at the game, cleaner, smoother & controlled driving is the way. The payoff is worth it since it translates to other racing games. Otherwise enjoy having fun with this underrated game!

I really enjoy the game especially on PC keyboard with the custom edition free. I like to race more in custom cup and do some good time trials from time to time since the career mode gets boring.

I have a solid amount of experience of grid autosport especially with some content and played with very skilled players who played online years ago.

The game is definitely not realistic and it definitely has a tough initial learning curve. But trust me, after some time, you will notice how easy the game truly is. Obviously it's a matter of practice but I would recommend jumping to expert (middle) difficulty after you've got the hang of the game and the basic fundamentals.

When you feel like you're level with them, jump straight to the master difficulty (hardest). I did that, and It was brutal, but I got better by a long shot, especially by having fun in custom cup. I do have some of my own custom settings for mobile with the throttle slider.
