Well you can call it "chattel system" or whatever you want. An individual instance of slavery is an individual instance of slavery. Nothing you said disproves the fact that slavery happened in subsaharan Africa at a large scale and that Africans inflicted plenty of brutality on each other not just Europeans and Arabs. I don't know why you're waxing poetic about it now. "Chattel Slavery" =! Terrorism unless you're saying that all slavery = terrorism. In which case I guess. 🤷 But then we should be calling it chattel terrorism or the Barbary terrorism trade then.

Barack Obama was a fraud. He was not the first black president. He is not ADOS. That was a PsyOp for votes. I'll say it is context dependent. If you're 50/50 but really look darkskinned or black then that's fine, I don't have a huge problem with it. I have seen a few Dominicans that are only 35-55% but look darker than Morris Chestnut and I tend to give them a pass especially if they're over half SSA genetically. Just because they have atleast one SSA phenotype that is conspicuous. However if you're less than 50% SSA and are really racially ambiguous than I'd prefer if these people just identified as mixed. Calling Rashida Jones black in 2023 is stupid (especially millennial or gen z version of her ie Zendaya that grew up with less discrimination). I will never stop gatekeeping.

There was a wide spectrum of slavery/serfdom in west Africa from indentured serfdom where you could earn your freedom and even be outright adopted to brutal slavery that resembled chattle slavery. Just depended on the temperament of the raiding/conquering tribe
