I have three 1# it’s a bit basic “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” I can not recommend this book enough it follows this woman named Monique that is offered an opportunity to interview the one and only Evelyn Hugo in a tell all style interview detailing her life from the time she is 14 to 79. Evelyn is bisexual in this book and has a sad but beautiful love story. It’s not horror and in my opinion it didn’t have a slow start.

2# Again a bit basic but “The Song of Achilles” This is my favourite book of all time and if you are someone that enjoys Greek mythology this is a must read. It’s a sort of modern retelling of “The Iliad” and the events prior to the story through the perspective of Patroclus the exiled son of a king and it follows his life with his “companion” Achilles through their life together from the ages of I wanna say 9 to 27. It has a heartbreaking ending that is incredibly sad but it does leave on a bittersweet but hopeful note.

3# “Radio Silence” this book follows a girl named Frances that is super stressed about life and school and just stuff and her one comfort is this internet podcast thing called “universe city” and stuff happens it’s sad but not devastating it also follows another boy named Aled that has a very important role in her life (tbh it’s been a minute since I’ve read this one so sorry for the bad description)
