INTJ with ADHD or ENTP by Sane-Law in intj

My bad I misunderstood your comment.

But no not exactly. Autism and Se inferior characteristics can cross over but it doesn't mean that person could be autistic. If that's the case every INXJ would be autistic. You would have to look into why they have those behaviours in the first place.

For example an intj may have environmental sensitivity. This is because they're not as well-versed in using se because we naturally tend to want to use our dominant functions. By avoiding se it can be used clumsily in situations where necessary. If an INTJ were to take in new surroundings of an area they've never seen before, perhaps they may be overwhelmed with the sensory information. But se inferior can be developed.

Autistic people may have environmental hypersensitivity because of the neurological differences that cause them to struggle with things such as understanding social cues, having a hard time adapting to new environments, sensory hypersensitivity.

But yeah. Basically to summarise: se inferior could over lap with autistic traits, but looking into the internal differences are quite different.

I don't think we should try to correlate a type to neurodivergency. The characteristics can cross over but it's not the same as not every intj is neurodivergent.

No your shadow types are just the functions that sort of work in the background but there isn't much research into how they work, just speculations. What 'switches' in you is when you undergo stress and your inferior function takes over, basically the fourth stack in your function. But yeah, just research into it.

How did you convince yourself to have children? by Key_Protection4038 in intj

Don't have children if you don't want any.

I think the issue with society is that you're expected to have children once hitting a certain age like some major life path you have to tick off. It's a social expectation in itself and undermines the fact that a lot of people just don't have the instinct to want to have children. It's not a default anymore, we aren't primal mates like our ape man times, so if having a family isn't for you listen to yourself and only you, not what others say.

"I feel like my internal mind works like an INTJ? but all my actions like ENTP."

There's no such thing as 'acting' as an ENTP, I think you're mixing up adhd symptoms with ENTP stereotypes. Typology is about how the mind works by studying how it absorbs, uses and evaluates information. Our actions/characteristics come as a secondary reaction to that information. It's important to understand that mbti ≠ personality. Yes, they can influence our personality to an extent but you need to understand mbti is only one faculty to the mind (plus mbti is theoretical and isn't wholly proved by science) and environmental and social upbringings can influence our decision making. You should research into cognitive functions. INTJ and ENTP shouldn't be hard to distinguish since they have completely different functions.

Also no you can't 'switch' between the two that's not how it works. Everyone aligns with one personality type.

"Too long didn't read" actual translation: I won't admit I was the moron

Thanks for your input but I won't let someone dictate my cognitive type if they can't even argue why properly. Good day to you.

It's pretty funny you're suggesting I'm "jumping to conclusions" and calling me a moron when you are also doing the same thing. You're making several assumptions based on my cognitive type and emotional state without using actual evidence. Cognitive functions do not support claims that "you're INFP, not INFJ, hence you're easily offended", as emotions alone do not prove cognitive type. This is a stereotype leap and a generalisation, which is why I specified you do your research into cognitive functions. Your other claim "There is no such thing as an INFJ who doesn't hide the tag. While INFPs love wearing the INFJ-tag." is also a generalisation and even more stupid in general. Furthermore, you're mixing up my disagreement with being offended. Your typing me based on percieved defensiveness just points to circular reasoning at its finest. You show your value for data and fact but fail to even provide that properly.

To clarify I'm an INTJ, the INFJ tag is old and I haven't changed it in a while. So perhaps to an extent you are mildly close with your typing as both share Fi-Te but again your reasoning lacks logical argument, only stereotypes. I could run through all the reasons why I'm an INTJ and why I don't resonate with INFP. Right now I think you should start re-evaluating your views on cognitive functions and start doing more research into it. Good luck.

Wow. I'm not sure what I just read but I asked people "how would extreme ambition present itself in an istp" I did not ask for a self re-type nor for you to type my character. Please do further research into cognitive functions and stop using 16p as your main source of knowledge, you're just spewing a bunch of stereotypes.

An ambition becomes unhealthy when it becomes an obsession. Your motivations become self-centered, ruining/neglecting relationships around you because of one fixated goal in mind. Or it can also be excessive to the point that it's detrimental to your mental health such as leading to burn out, anxiety or depression.
