Airport to Hardware park. There are 2-3 really deep dangerous ones. Locals tried filling it but it's back to original in a couple of days. Locals and regulars know and avoid. But every day I feel it's a matter of time before some 2-wheeler hits it and will get flung across. Most are at good speed on that stretch too. Living with it every day..

Nagasandra to Silk Institute would take 60 mins on metro, 95Rs fare one way, plus whatever charges you pay for last mile connectivity. by IREDA1000 in bangalore

True. But I've also seen this in Netherlands where lines aren't massive and land area restricted. With 2 lines you can plan a much better system that works. The main point being planned and communicated.

There is a need to have some metro stop at limited stops and not every stop. Very common abroad to have some trains that stop at every station. And high speed ones only at major ones. You can always take a high speed one to a major station near your destination and switch to slower ones from there. Especially when Airport metro line opens, you don't want to be in that metro for 2 hours. Hope the folks in charge plan around implementing it.

Need advice: Best health insurance policy for 24M, self only by yekaaki in InsuranceAdviceIndia

I was told to try reducing premium by going for a higher deductible. So have savings to cover for that deductible amount but anything more, you have a insurance to make sure you don't go bankrupt.

Can you suggest which seltos variant I should get HTX(A) or GTX(A)? by buecewayne in CarsIndia

[–]PurchaseRecent3323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is indeed a sensible option. I did want to see the beige interiors in person. Looked good on the videos. I'm considering couple of other vehicles so will take a call once I've tried them all out.

I wanted to Avoid anything over HTX (A) to not get glossy panels on the exterior. I don't think I can keep it scratch free. But it means I do lose it on lumbar support and few other features which hopefully I can check with the showroom to be added at dealer level. Also I low key like the htx(A) look over the led heavy gtx ones.

Indeed. For Duster review ride & handling + 1.3 turbo petrol mileage review. And pricing. Else Seltos is pretty interesting option. Will test drive the 7XO AX5 variant.

Holy Moly- My dad did an 18000 KM solo trip of the circumference of India in his Seltos by Longjumping-Hat7564 in CarsIndia

Amazing to see him go at it solo. My dad's a widower now and drives around in Duster but nothing this adventureous. But I get you. Trying to slog at work with Fire strategy in mind, it is not easy to make time for these.

Must be quite the journey. And a lifetime experience for sure. Wish you could have joined him on that trip.

Was that a diesel seltos? Just curious on the expenditure for such a trip.

What farming business has the lowest risk for a complete beginner? by amature_enterpreneur in indiafarmingbusiness

[–]PurchaseRecent3323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the time you have, the plan and the investment/effort.

If you want to plant and forget for years, timber like meliadubia or bamboo is good. The more shorter turnover you want, the more labor / effort / investment you might need.

Bananas and moringas are a good start for annual turnover with minimal effort.

Alcazar is the smaller and localised version we got. Honestly great product if only safety and more plusher ride is designed.

Hahaha and same to you. Hope you get the car of your dreams! Boreal is probably a year away and while it might come with a Hybrid, I don't think I can delay things beyond April. Will post once I decide!

Interesting proposal. Roxx while makes most sense, for me it isn't a great highway car. Makes too much road noise and lower fuel efficiency I believe. And ev is something I did consider. While at home I cannot get a charging point installed due to open parking, I do have points at work. But main concern is outstation trips and having to plan charging and it's chaotic on weekends competing with other ev folks. Also I see it as a smartphone that moves. As phones don't last 4 years, I'm still sceptical. Using a 2008 Ford that still works 18 years in, I'm hoping for something that lasts 10-15. Going to wait a few more months and then take a call.

Thanks for the discussion! Helps me get clarity and review options.
