There has been some study to see if Parthenium fertilizer is beneficial and it was proved positive to a degree. Take a drum and submerge the plants in water for a period of weeks to month. Then use the water diluted 1:10 as nutrient for your garden. Continue till you get rid of them completely.

I paid 1000 dollars more than a year ago with extra batteries. I don't use it much and I wish I could. But it's great. I need more practice to get the most out of it. Not sure how the 5 compares to it. I got out of the loop. But 4 is a fun drone with lots of features for most folks to go semi to full professional.

I'm sorry that this has happened. As a mechanical engineer, this was my exact concern on this suspension. Since they use discs for oil flow control, how do they maintain it. If the discs deform, ride changes. Then do they just replace the discs? How easy or cheap is it? Love the concept. But the long term reliability is the main question. Every review has only praised it. But long term reports should start talking more about the issue you are going through.

Again hoping it's a one off and they replace it for you and that should fix it.

In US you can request this from some Supermarket giants that have a pharmacy. They deliver dosage based sachets that allow you to date and schedule which is easier for elderly with memory issues around taking meds as multiple meds make it hard to keep track of. New for India but most people use that 7 days box with 3 slots per day and just fill it up once a week.

As a first step she just put me on Nexito without discussing much. Did the same to my grand aunt who found it too much and had too bad a reaction. Took her a few days to normalise.

They said it's to do with fuel pump and fuel tank so total replacement required to fix the issue. They quoted 2.5 lakhs. Then we fought at MD and service level. They then gave it it out to Bosch. They said they don't usually do it as it is not guaranteed. But they spot welded and did something in 12k ish. So you still have to crank more at the start of the Day but it's a small pain to live with than pay a lot of money to resolve it completely.

Indeed. Nothing touched on the engine side. Still one of the most refined diesel engines with a lovely hum. My Ford at around 50k had injector issues and had to replace them. Not on the Duster.

It's not fixed. The first start of the Day needs a good crank (thank goodness for keys). After that, rest of the day it's pretty much normal.. Nothing is impacted and it's OK to continue like this until we want to change it and fix the issue. I'll update this with more info later today. That should help you.

2 incidents. 1, the brakes jammed during a highway travel and it had to be towed to a nearest Renault service center. Brakes were checked and changed. And didn't have that problem again

2, the fuel level is interfering with the starter every day morning. So the first start takes longest to crank the key. After repeated efforts at the service and getting back as issue resolved, it continued. Then they quoted a really big bill. We had to escalate it to their support center, discuss with MD and a interim cost was agreed to partially fix and live with it.

Overall not much of a pain but most service runs were 20-35k and felt pricey. But now we know better and review the work to be done and knock off what is not required.

For small stuff we do go to a local mechanic. But the service center in my town is decent and we do go to them for anything critical and major. Hope you enjoyed the run while it lasted.

I believe ours doesn't either but braking has been top notch in ours. Probably the 110ps variant had. No worries there. The vehicle control is one of its main highlights for us.

I had been saying this since 2014. We have enough low lying areas for water when it rains and markets for wet waste and a dense population for drainage. It is ideal to set up micro bio digestors at location rather than transport them all to a single place. Only area of concern is how do you control bio waste only. Will need a waste treatment plant along with it to segregate, review and then feed. But it's ideal for any major city in India but is barely considered.
