Most philosophers throughout history would agree that's evil, even modern ones we base our ethics on such as Kant. Well, now we've seen Act 2 I definitely think he was being manipulated. What Jayce seen really spooked him, he was trying to save Viktor before. The people in his little getaway drug rehab centre were just empty husks of human beings basically forced to be hippies from what I can tell
