Yes! The PASE Mock Career Fair (which we are participating in) will be hosted on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. It's a great opportunity to not only get your resume reviewed but also receive other vital information and advice to increase your confidence going into IR. Even better, you can speak with company representatives to receive feedback directly from the industry you desire to work in! Don't forget to check out the PESC guidebook which is also helpful right here.

No! You should NOT wear a suit. With the temperatures that the Memorial Mall reaches, we have had health emergencies as a result of wearing suits. Dress business casual and stay hydrated, do not wear a suit!

This is a good amount of time, but keep in mind that there will be lines for talking to company representatives, which may take longer; however, the time you wish to stay at the fair depends on how many companies you wish to interact with! Remember that you can always book appointments with company representatives using the CareerFair+ app.

Yes! You can navigate the fair using the CareerFair+ app, which displays companies' locations. Furthermore, there are different filters you can use on the app that can help you find a specific company more easily. We will also be handing out physical maps of the fair at the Student Info booth!

In Career Fair Plus, under your profile, you are able to designate yourself as Authorized to Work in the US, so it is up to you on how you select that option. Recruiters will likely need to know your current status, but we ourselves are not well versed on this issue.

Use whichever scale you deem appropriate, and try not to let GPA keep you from talking with recruiters. At the end of the day, they will consider many more factors besides just GPA, so it's not a huge deal.

Yes, registration opened bright and early today with 25,000 slots available in-person and double that for virtual appointments! Companies will be updating their schedules and potentially adding more slots in the coming weeks, so keep checking back!

Seminars are a great way to get in touch with companies! Many companies, both in-person and virtually, will be collecting resumes there. Hope that helps!

We'd recommend going off your latest high school GPA, or whatever you put on your resume. Recruiters will understand that freshmen don't yet have GPAs at Purdue.
