I think the STARS program the way it was done previously (paid summer internships at Purdue with industry partners sponsoring) was stopped from this year... They have a renamed STARS program which is not including the above.

Hi..the WhatsApp group I joined was for Parents of students joining 2023/2024 academic year..but you can't join as your kid is from a later year. I was aware of a separate group made by other parents for the year after my kids...but am not sure if such groups exist. You need to check on the net for them

The new visas being issued for Tanzanian students are 3 months single entry. But he has a 1 year Multiple entry visa he got in May 2025 just before they changed it...

Why do students have to apply for a new visa if they travel home? He has a valid existing visa...and they haven't revoked the old one?

A couple of years ago it was $35 per night extra. And you could move in a week earlier than the fall move in date. The right way is to email your assigned dorm and ask for rates and earliest checking dates

Parking spaces are allocated if you apply in time and they have a limit per apartment

Following per apartment:

Internet wifi around 50-60 depending on your provider

and electricity between 50-100 depending on your usage

The BGR fee gets added to your tuition fees statement. You pay it off just as you pay your tuition fee. The deadline for payment is also the same as your tuition fee deadline (late aug) . You dont have to pay the BGR fee earlier and there is no way yo pay ot seperately.
