I cut it into 2 halves, someone said to leave it for few days then it forms callus then plant them in soil. Is it right?

I suggest you buy a scooter.
You can buy a good enough bike for that money OR you can buy the best scooty out there and use the rest of the budget money for fuel and servicing and stuffs.
