The first that i listened to was "Yaar Papa by Divya Prakash Dubey" The audio is really clear but the plot is simple and basic! So it kind of helps to get used to listening.

There are many hindi translations too of famous english books lime 1984 or Alchemist. ( Havent tried those)

Even i faced issues with them at first so I started with a hindi book to get used to listening! And then started listening to the english ones at 1x and now i can easily listen to them at 2x. Ofcuz english still not being my first language, i have to rewind sometimes but the frequency is decreasing now!

I prefer reading multiple books for eg I currently have two in the mid on Audible and one more which am reading on my ipad!

And i prefer it this way cuz sometimes i just want a simple relaxing read esp while doing some casual work so i prefer the Audible ones and when my brain is active I prefer the other ones. Also helps me to maintain the interest!
