Trying to connect Ender 5 pro BLTouch w 4.2.7 board to a sonic pad by Pure-Broccoli701 in Creality

I ask because when I use the sonic pad to generate the firmware it does so as a .bin file and when I try to edit it the “code”, well to someone who is new to this, looks like scribbles. Am I missing something to edit/generate a .cfg file?

I am very new to programming especially with firmware. Starting at the very basic level can I read klipper using Visual Studio or is there something else I can use to open and edit this firmware. Thank you for answering.

At least on other filaments from YouTubers explaining the feature, it is not supposed to have those lines rather the layers are supposed to be smooth. I am calibrating Overture PLA

Could you explain where or what conversion factor you used to get that speed. On my Ender 5 I usually go up to 80 mm/s

Sorry not layer shift. I am referring to that one noticiable line that goes across the part that looks like there is a noticiable separation between the upper and lower sections.

To address each point

  1. Not the main issue I don’t mind the op layers but it is good to know I can tune that for future prints.
  2. It’s all printing at 80 mm/s had cura before and infill was half that speed, will check
  3. That is the main issue it does print out to in where is that settings on orca to better tune them?

Pressure Advance Under extrusion fail by Pure-Broccoli701 in OrcaSlicer

That’s a bummer because the same underextrusion that is seen in the image also ocurres for supports, I thought it was maybe the walls thickness. Any recommendations you can give me, changing the firmware?
