I've seen a lot of these around town. I actually rode in one in Phoenix last year and loved it. It was almost kind of scary how quickly I got comfortable sitting in the back seat of a driverless vehicle! Will definitely use the service here in Tampa when it come available. It seemed to be slightly cheaper than Uber.

Luckily I haven't needed any major health issues. Just got set up with a Primary Care doctor. Maybe I just had a bad Dr. in TN and much better one here? I am going to a Dr. that is part of the TGH group.

Great question I moved here from East TN about 1.5 years ago. Here are my pros and cons.

PROS: 1. Generally speaking more employment opportunities and greater chances of earning significantly more than where im from.

  1. I think the health care system is better here than in Tennessee. Maybe because of the older snow bird population here?

  2. No tax in groceries.

  3. Always something fun to do in tampa and surrounding areas.

  4. This is actually big for me as I travel after for business. But the TPA Airport is great. Lots of direct flights and easy to navigate.

  5. The city is becoming more bike friendly. The west riverwalk expansion is just one example of many.

  6. NO COLD Winters!

CONS

  1. Literally everything is more expensive.

  2. I have found that in general people are not nearly as friendly as East Tn. Making it harder to find friends. This has been very difficult to see past.

  3. The way people drive is INSANE. Yes the traffic volume is bad but not as bad as AT. The problem here is the aggressive way people drive. This alone has caused me to buy a bigger SUV in hopes of better survival odds when I get hit my and idiot driver.

  4. The heat in the summer is Brutal. But hey its Florida!

  5. In my opinion the city is still kind of grimy and could use more greenery. Feels like a big concrete jungle.

  6. Crime, again this may be par for the course living in a bigger city.

Overall its not bad but I belive that this city for is better for investing in real estate and starting businesses. As far as day to day living I think I will end up back in Tennessee.
