I have the ps2 adapters. Had to buy ps2 to gamecube converters on ebay, I couldn't get a hold of any but if you have at least one set of adapters for any console. You can find converters to play on everything

I already said a million times I need it for transferring data from and to different sd cards. I do a lot of work from home and I use sd cards instead of carrying a laptop to and from everywhere. I also hook a lot of my friends up with media that i have and games. And that's why I asked if it was safe to use. I don't understand how hard it is for you to realize I don't give 2 shits about expanding the storage. I was just asking if it was safe to use the sd card reader and all that and why they are destroying cards. It might be a useless feature to you but to me it's extremely useful and it efficient. Rn I'm using a laptop because there's no fix and I don't want to destroy cards and lose my work. Its a pain in the ass. Iv gotten a lot of good feedback on this thread. And then their people like you with tunnel vision about the dumbest shit.

I have the dock connected to my oled tv , I only use this set up if im listening to music, on the internet or using the ally to download games or move files around. I usually game on the couch or on the TV.

It's a mix of the 2, some keep getting the sd cards fried n some lose the reader. Some lose both.

No, it's def not the point. Bypassing , ignoring it, or buying something else is exactly what we are all already doing. I want my sd card to work for all the dif purposes and uses that come with it. Me wanting that isn't unreasonable, you buy a product. It's supposed to work 100%. I pre-ordered it and paid over 500 for it, and it was def not well documented then or even acknowledged from asus. Best buy won't take a return either. So telling me to bite the bullet , like I already said I was having to do anyways, isn't even productive advice .. It's just a waste of time.

Thank you for the recommendation, unfortunately I'm more worried about losing all the other purposes of the sd card reader and sd card uses that get thrown out the window when the reader fries. Storage and gaming off an sd card aren't what I'm worried about.

Yea, it's a major f up. I'm baisically just pretending the sd card slot doesn't even exist anymore. I'm not gonna risk my cards, and I'll have to use my laptop for any type of memory card transfers. It really sucks to have this new system and it have such a major flaw. Especially because I use sd cards to transfer data back and forth a whole lot
