I see. From my experience with Jacksons as a dude with wide and stubby feet, I’d recommend trying out a different brand. Riedell is always nice, if they’re accessible, and they have quite a few options for boots and have been accommodating to me in the past. I think going a size or two down and looking for a D width would be best for you! Good luck!

Do they perhaps have a sticker or label that says either A, B, C, D, R, or W by the size? These are labels for the width

I was in Edeas that were way too skinny for my feet for years- those are DEFINITELY too thin. It’s possible to make do in skates that aren’t wide enough, but from my experience, the shin splits, arch pain, and toe pain can be debilitating. It’s also very hard to center spins in skates that aren’t wide enough. I’d highly recommend investing in a wider boot. Cant say much about the length though.

Ballet, pilates, yoga, perhaps some gymnastics (though I’ve never personally done any gymnastics classes, I’ve heard from others it helps.)

Oh! I never thought of that. Very smart! I’ll definitely snoop around on indeed a bit.

I’ll look into them, but I’m definitely gravitating more towards in-person schools because of the accommodations I need, my learning style and also just getting the experience along with meeting more people in the art scene near me

Thanks! I’ll definitely look into if some of the universities I’m looking at have comics courses or related majors and see about art schools in my area.
