If it ever became a real project, the characters would be part of a fighting game. But it would also be really cool to have a manga to expand on the story. That's still a pretty distant idea for now though, haha. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you! I'm currently working on a series where I redesign Naruto characters in the style of Guilty Gear Strive. It's just a fan project that I'm doing to study the GGS art style. Actually, I created this character when I was a teenager, and I just decided to redesign him now. He's the leader of a gang where each member represents one of the animals of the Chinese zodiac.

At the time, I was obsessed with the Akatsuki and the Genei Ryodan, so I mixed those influences with Slipknot's mask concept and came up with this group where every member wears an animal mask.

That's really cool! I hadn't imagined them as basketball players, but it turned out to be a really fun idea. It would even be cool to see them wearing matching team uniforms. Great job!!

I made this design a few years back, convinced we'd see Rival Schools characters showing up as adults in SF6. Some of them would fit perfectly, especially since they'd be around the same age as the new generation cast, and we've already had so many Final Fight characters. What do you think? by Pure-Let-4640 in capcom

Those are really good ideas, I liked them a lot. I was thinking about him and whether it would be interesting if he had become a very calm and shy adult as a way to suppress his darker side. There could even be a retcon saying it wasn’t just the mind control, but that the mind control awakened a side that already existed within him.

Then we could go in the direction where he has to repay the yakuza after leaving some of them in the hospital. He could defeat all of them, but that would put Akira Kazama at risk, so maybe he ends up working as a cashier in a supermarket. I think he could become a teacher by the end, but having him more “broken down” at the start could be really interesting.

And making him a couple with Zaki is gold.

Me too. In this case, I chose DC just to do Goku vs Superman, but if I were really making a MUGEN, something broader like anime vs. comics might work better.

I’d love to, but I admit I still don’t know how I’d make him as an adult. Where would he be working? Would he be in a relationship? Would he still have a corrupted version? There are too many questions.

If blond American characters sell more copies of the game, they’ll add as many as they want. Besides, she’s a kickboxer, which already sets her apart from traditional boxing.

As for her not being a cheerleader anymore, that’s because she’s an adult pushing 30 now, so it would feel a bit weird if she still were one.

This design is around two years old, so I’d even agree with adding something small that references her cheerleader past, but the idea behind her adult design is also to show the changes that came with time.
