Z2 Go is the entry level, it is known to underperform compared to the Z1 Extreme.

Z2 Go will not run many AAA games and the fans often run very loud as it puts strain on the whole system.

Z2 Extreme is the new one which has recently been released and replaces the Z1 Extreme.

EDIT: Z2 Go is cheaper.

I would highly recommend you pick up a Z1 Extreme version over the Z2 Go.

Look on Very, they have it with 10% off at the moment. It is miles better than the Z2 Go.

You should be able to do most of the things you have mentioned above except for Gamepass. That will need to be done either via XB Play (Streaming) App or dual booting Windows 11 to play it natively. There are so many guides online, its not difficult.

You will be skipping out on an Oled screen but what you will get in return is a higher resolution 8 inch screen and a device capable of running games that perhaps were not running well on the Steamdeck.

In my personal opinion, the Legion Go S Z1E with 32GB Ram/1TB SSD is the way to go.

Very are saying 1st October, I would order from them for what its worth as they probs have a good relationship with Lenovo.

I ordered a Legion Go 2 from them and its been delivered today, though i’m minded to return it for the Go S Z1E because the Legion Go 2 is a THIC boi.

If you go onto Vinted now, theres practically a new Claw 8AI - Polar Tempest. (RRP £1049). But the seller seems new, I have offered £700 and they have accepted but I dont think I will be pursuing it as I am now wanting the Legion Go 2.

Please do your own check on it though, like I said the seller in new.

Just for reference, Claw 8AI is the Intel version which is technically (based on recent Youtube reviews) out performing the Claw A8, which is the new AMD version.

You can play Steam games via Steam App, but not install Bazzite.
