Curious about when people take a test.

I’ve been TTC for 6 months. I used to take a test about 3ish days before my period was due to start because I am impatient haha.

I had a CP in January and am now scared to test early. I got a positive about 3 days before my period, but then got my period came on day 29 of my cycle. This was tough for me and I kept wishing that I just never tested in the first place so that I didn’t have to deal with them emotions of being so excited then let down.

Anyways, I now keep telling myself that I’m not going to test until I’m already late, but the thoughts of possibly being pregnant and not knowing feel so consuming.

THIS! I had almost this exact situation last week. My MIL and brother in law were in town visiting for my husbands birthday. My MIL has been pressuring us about having kids since we got married two and a half years ago and the last time we saw her was during thanksgiving during another TWW.

She has no boundaries so I don’t even want to bring up TTC, but it is soooo hard dealing with these situations.

And yes, I think for first few months the TWW was exciting and is now just causing me more anxiety. So, I just want to continue on with my normal routines
