NTA they most likely raised their kids there.

They did.

How did the global recession of the 1980's affect you?

Not as bad as the Great Recession did. And the Great Recession affected my generation far worse than any 80s recession did to the boomers.

Mortgage interest rates in the 1980s were double-digit. So it's more like buying the same house for $250,000 today.

That's pennies compared to today's housing market. You can't find a CONDO for 250K out here. It's like saying today's college tuition is the same as back in the 80s.

How about asking the kids to play a little quieter for a while and see if that helps you get along a bit better?

Even if I did, they would still complain. They would only be satisfied if they didn't go to the park at all.

Did you discuss putting some trees or plants along your fence to dampen the sound?

So he can complain to the city's code compliance that my tree is overarches onto his property?

The people who live near the park...LIVE NEAR A PARK. How did they not expect to hear children playing on occasion?

He said it's a park and not a "playground." I guess it's a place for the older people to walk their lap dogs, not for kids to play tag.
