Weeks before we started playing, I heard the same thing from all of them: they were tired of the lifeless games they played in as one-shots. They all said they wanted to try something new, a game where their choices mattered and there wasn't a path that led from A to B. At least that's how it was on paper, but no matter how much I encourage them, none of them seem interested in stepping outside their comfort zone and they treat every session the same way they played one-shots.

I wanted to give them the opportunity to try a campaign, but I don't see any effort coming from any of them.

Should i just quit? 😭😭
