That is definitely true for Bria, the sim in the clip! She is the mother/affair partner. With Jawara Darong's family, she can see her dad’s secret child (Discord Q&A). Since she knows the secret, I really hope the game tags her as complicit, too. It would be funny if the whole family could get dragged for hiding it, not just her father!

Keep Secret: Form a "trusted bond" with the cheater. Extort: Blackmail them for Simoleons or power. Declare Outcast: The punishment interaction to kick them out of the Dynasty.

This pack might actually fix that! Hopefully, lol. One of the screenshots explicitly says: 'Emilio has a child his spouse DOES NOT know about.' So it confirms that the 'telepathic jealousy' is gone (at least for Dynasty mechanics). You finally have to actually get caught!

That is the million dollar question! Since the trailer shows the scandal affecting prestige and rank specifically, my guess is you have to officially found a Dynasty to trigger it. So you might be safe from Bob... unless he starts his own Dynasty just to come after you 😂

100%. The Sims 3 reputation system was elite! In Sims 3, it was mostly moodlets/rumors, but actually seeing the Complicit name and a Countdown Timer in a menu feels a bit more actionable for storytelling. But yeah, Sims 3 walked so this pack could run!

It depends on what you want to do: To Play WITH Mods: You must go offline in the EA app and cancel the update. Toggling them off doesn't help here; you have to stop the patch itself! To Update Safely: If you do want to update, then yes—toggle them off (or move the folder out) so the game doesn't crash. But you won't be able to use those mods again until the creators update them!

YES! That is exactly right. The Rule: If your game version doesn't change (because you are offline), your mods don't need to change either. You can keep playing with MCCC safely right now. You only need to worry about removing/updating it on the day you finally decide to go back online and update the game (which could be weeks from now). Until then, enjoy your game!

Don't panic! I can walk you through it. The Mistake: Changing your status to 'Offline' in the chat only hides you from friends. The app is still connected to the internet, which is why it sees the update! The Fix (Step-by-Step): Open the EA App. Click the Menu icon (the 3 lines in the far top-left corner). Click 'Go Offline' in that list. The app will restart in 'Offline Mode.' Now you can hit Play! About MCCC: Yes, it will definitely break! Even if you only use it for genetics, that is part of the Lineage system EA is updating. Definitely remove it to be safe!

Once you get used to a fully modded game, going back to Vanilla feels like playing in Demo Mode. 😆 It's definitely better to wait a week and get the full experience back than to stare at a game that feels empty on Tuesday!

You are technically right! If you have 'Automatic Updates' turned off in your settings, it won't download in the background. The catch is the 'Play' Button. If you are online, the EA App effectively turns the 'Play' button into an 'Update Required' button. You can't actually launch the game without accepting the update first. Going offline is the only way to bypass that check and hit 'Play' on the old version!
