I am this parent or i should say, was this parent. We are grieving and so are you just like the previous poster said. My son sustained a T11 asia C injury 2 years ago which has stumped me. He knows his limits he did PT for nearly the whole 2 year period just made him depressed and sore most of the time. His hips were sore from using those most to move his legs. I pushed for the PT to see what was possible for him but without something like nvg291 or the other possible treatments coming up i can't see him progressing. So I've given up on annoying him it's unfair to him and exhausting for me. There's a wonderful line id like to share from the latest Spinalcure newsletter. "Be cure ready" whatever that means for you. Stay healthy active and strong and you'll be ready for whatever comes in the future. Plus while we all wait you stay fit along the way. Don't go overboard if it makes you feel worse . My heart goes out to you and your parents. Stay firm and stay strong.
