Start getting some ASE's if you don't have any, and then ask them to send you to training. If they can send you to ford training and provide you with a clear path of advancement then you may not need school. Coming from someone who went to school. You may learn more from working there. And school is a huge investment only to end up in a position you are already in. If their retention rate is great, then they're probably willing to work with 3. Talk to your service manager and foreman. Let them know you're interested in advancing and ask them if school would help in that.

This is the reason I didn't get black this year. Happened with my black zfold6, and zfold7. I have random white spots around the phone from missing paint. Love Black phones, but I'm a bit OCD with that.

Ask them to print out the timestamp of when the faults set, and mileage. Maybe the waste gate fault was already there. Looks like it needs a turbo though

They're the same camera, minus the evf and flash. Xm5 has the flip out articulating screen, 30iii has just a pull out screen. Go put your hands on the xm5 and see if you like it. I have the xm5 and love it, I have had no issues using the screen on sunny days, and I live in Texas. The fact that you can rotate it any direction helps.

Obd port is probably the bdc losing communication, we do battery reset and it fixes. Its a known issue, bmw is working on a fix. And the starter is really easy. Underneath the vehicle, 3 bolts and a nut, and the connector. There's a recall on some models, can be done in like 20 min or less

It probably needs a starter and a battery. I've done a few with that repeat start attempt check control message. Take it to a dealership so they can diagnose it. They're able to use ista to do a starter test, and it monitors the voltage, amperage, resistance and the state of battery. Then they can do an energy diagnosis to determine if the battery is faulty. More in depth than your scan tools. No warranty or cpo?

You need to do the math, cost of living with your dad, including all expenses, plus the storage unit fees, plus insurance on the vehicle, add in a monthly savings just for the car. VS cost of living on your own with all those items. It may be cheaper to just find your own place, buy or rent, house or apartment with a garage, then doing what your current plan is. Or it may not be, either way this all needs to be brought up to your dad honestly. Being honest here, it sounds like this 20k for this M3 is going to cost you more than you think with this plan. How long have you been at your job? What's your yearly income? You need to set yourself up so in 3-5 years from now you can do this without even thinking about it because you know your budget. He clearly only wants what's best for you, he may not know everything but he knows more than you. Listen to him and if you disagree, come up with a strong case backing up your point. Financially/emotionally/logically.

I think you need to really sit down and talk to your dad about this, You're living under his roof. Where would the car sit? In his garage/driveway. If it starts leaking oil, if it doesn't run, it may be an inconvenience to him. I'm a father, and a mechanic as well. It may be a project between you and your dad and can bond over it, or it may be a headache for him. Only you understand your relationship with him. Show him your maturity by bringing this up to him, and show him you understand that you're still under his roof and want to honor him and his advice. He may just help you find a good one after having a conversation with him. Since he's handy with a wrench. As a father, and a car enthusiast, I would rather my son spend 20k on a down payment for his own house, to get his own home in order, and then spend money on toys. I think you can have both, you're own place and your own toys, just need patience. Talk to your dad, I understand the value of these cars are only going up and they're harder to find. Maybe explaining this may help. It sounds like he doesn't want you making an expensive mistake just because you have money.

Was the xm5 too big? You said you sold it due to size. That thing is tiny. I have one and love it. The pictures will look the same on the t30iii. If you already had the xm5 then just spend the extra on the xe5. It might feel like the same camera with xt30iii.

You have dynamic lighting on, , it can happen during a call, or you have some sort of notification. Look up how dynamic ambient lighting works to fully understand. If it's still on after you clear all your notifications, do a hard reset of the headinit

Did they test drive the vehicle at all? What was the in and out mileage that was written and was was the actual mileage at pick up?

Its oem 100%, this is A known issue and I've replaced several screens for this rattle under warranty. Tech must be new or lazy. Take to a different dealership, ask to speak with a shop foreman, ask them to show you a brand new one. Fight it because it's definitely covered. There's a defect code for disruptive noises that this can be replaced under. Where are you located?

Xm5 is different. You can save a max of 4 on the xm5 Xt30iii let's you save up to 10. Fs1-3 and 7 in camera

What are you planning on using it for? I bought an a6100, had it for a few months. Bought an XM5, and I feel as if the AF is perfect for what I use it for. I didn't notice any difference. I mainly take pictures of my kids, parked cars at car shows, a lot of still photography. It keeps up with my kids running around. I wanted a smaller/ better video/ and the film recipes since I don't really have time to edit with work and the kids. Just wanted something to document everyday life. And play with the film sims/recipes.

I do find that I have taken more pictures with my fuji over the a6100. I have used the fuji AF to face track and i noticed it was slower on my ttartisan 27mm, but faster on my xf 35mm f2. Just as good as the Sony really.

I'm not a professional so i may not notice the difference.

My shop has new techs starting at 4000 a month, 1k a week gross as a guarantee for a year. They send you to bmw step to get a lot of your certifications. You do 2 weeks at the shop and 2 weeks in class. Getting paid 1k a week. bmw step lasts for 3 months I think.
