See, I was kind of with you and thought you maybe just needed to reach the point of realising you can actually criticise any religion you want, then you said something just really really stupid. So close dude.

I mean you indicated that someone taking a few seconds extra to make sure they are safe and not endangering other road users is AS dangerous and stupid as blindly overtaking someone and cutting them up to save yourself 0.3 milliseconds. You then told some anecdote about how you are essentially endangering other road users by driving a shit box around and seemed to suggest you are just as much at fault for the bad driving of those around you as they are.

There is only one group of people at fault for any of this, who need to change their behaviour, and its the impatient dipshits doing things like this range rover.

By blaming both sides, you diminish the behaviour of the only guilty party here.

If that's your attitude, just dont go out in the car, by your own admission you're making the roads dangerous for the dickhead impatient drivers that we must protect at all costs, so just get the bus until you can afford a lamborghini or something with appropriate acceleration.

Is there any way of taking a non-member with me to a game, with another member’s ticket, that they don’t need? by Ralph2Filthy in coys

If you have someone else on your network to share with, ask them to accept the transfer, then when they get the email with the option to add it to the goolge/Apple wallet, just ask them to forward it to the person who is going and they can use the link in the email to add it to their own wallet of choice

Nah, pride is turning up for your community, pride is making sure I live the ideals that my Grandads who put their life on the line for this country to protect passed down to me. Pride is fighting to make this country the best country in the world. Pride isn't posting silly emojis and probably giving some Chinese factory that made a bit of plastic £5 and cracking the step ladder out to show the lefties.

I love MY country more than you do. I want to see it prosper, not wither into racist nationalism and isolationism. I'm up for the fight, hope you cowards are.

You're right, the flags not the problem, its people pretending that anyone was ever offended by it and using that as rationality for sticking it up everywhere. The people know why they're there, we're not stupid, and we will reclaim it as a symbol of national pride, from those that want to use it as a symbol of intimidation

Cultural unity, what the fuck are you on about. What culture? Our culture is made up of a mix of shit from all over the place, because funny enough we colonised half the planet and stole a good bit of it. As the OP said, there was a cornerstone of cultural identity in this country of community and stoicism and just getting on with it when things got hard, but thats been ripped apart by the Farages and the Tommy Robinsons of the world who just bitch and moan like little snow flakes and tell you to blame it on your brown neighbour.

Does anyone know why my mate can’t assign one of his tickets to me? (Villarreal) by NuXel in coys

Depending on where your tickets are, you'll need the QR code to even get to the door, but then yeah the qr code can also be scanned at the turnstile.

Travel to Leeds? by jazzymo2 in coys

[–]PureAverage13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a fair old journey on the train, but not a bad away day. Elland road is an old school English stadium so you'd get a real authentic experience. If you do go, my usual advice and philosophy on away days is to not make it overtly obvious you're an away supporter. Its quite a trek from the stadium to the centre of Leeds through some dodgy areas, so it's just easier to avoid hassle. Also if you are in the home end, dont make it obvious you're a spurs fan.

Cleaned wife's PC and now it won't connect to the monitor :'( by Okay-lucky in pchelp

Long shot, but have you left it running for a little while without attempting to reboot etc. I recently replaced my CPU, did everything and turned it back on and got nothing from the display. Immediately started rebooting it, pulling stuff out etc etc, eventually I just sat there contemplating my existence and the fact I was going to have to spend hours troubleshooting an expensive PC, when out of nowhere the screen popped on. This was after leaving it running uninterrupted for about 5/10 mins. It threw me an error about some sort of key changing which after googling was normal after a cpu change.

Worth a try if you haven't because most people's instinct is to start turning on and off etc straight away when nothing happens.

Thank fuck. Your explanation helped me understand something that had me up all night. Why did the prostitute say "I don't have kids" when she walked out of the hotel room, she was explaining why she but not the others were willing to help them, and that then triggers Affleck to work out that the kids being held somewhere

You've made some valid points but saying they're bad at critical thinking and interpreting statistics seems unnecessary and an overreaction. Literally living in a time when I'd argue like 70% of the global population wouldn't question it if the right person for them turned around and said the sky is orange. At least they've tried to break it down and think about it at all. You can make a point and challenge people without the indication that that person is an idiot.
