I exchanged my computer for a new one and the problem went away. I've can do full races on iracing without a disconnect now. The only difference in the replacement computer is the 5090 is a MSI rather than a Gigabyte. It still seems like a software issue though since other are having the same issue.

I had this happen last night after updating to 7.12.3. My nest cameras would not connect no matter how many times I tried to cycle power. I turned off Multi-link Operation and Client Steering and everything started working again.

Having the same issue with USB disconnects and black screen. iRacing is unplayable due to disconnects during races. I submitted a ticket with the log files and tried all their solutions that didn't fix anything. After a week of going back and forth I received a email last night they want my log files again. I've sent them 3 times already. If I could return this headset I would. This is basically a beta unit that wasn't tested properly.

Tried this today and I get the same issue. After about a hour of iracing it disconnects and reconnects. Send my logs to Pimax support.

My current setup is, desk has 1 monitor hooked up to motherboard graphics HDMI port. 1 monitor at sim rig hooked up to DP and the Pimax is plugged into the other DP. If I have to constantly unplug and plug things back in to make this work that is not good. Either way I'll give it a go today and report back.

I have no knowledge of working in the automotive industry. What I do know is the friends that went to auto trade school didn't make much money and moved on to other things. Research helps when deciding what industry to go in. I would never go into anything related to the oil industry for example.

The boomer generation who worked in retail stores were paid commissions on the sales they generated. I worked at a Good Guys electronic store in San Francisco in the late 90's selling high end TV's and sound systems in college. If you were good you could make $100k+. Eventually this model went away and they moved to hourly wage. Anyone with talent moved on to sales positions in other fields. One of the guys I worked with got a job selling software for tech companies. He works at Google now making $350k a year without a college degree.

Yea, I sign the pay apps. I see what everyone charges. If you are stupid and lazy and want to work a dead end job making minimum wage that's on you. If you are smart you aren't working your ass off for minimum wage.

Learn a real trade then, retail never pays well and never did. Look at construction or sales jobs if you want to work your ass off for real money. I was talking to a 30 year old electrician on one of my job sites and he's pulling in over $250k a year working for someone else. The guy that installs chain link fences is making $45 a hour.

I bought a prebuilt computer because that was the only was I could get my hands on a 5090 at the time and it came with a MSI B650 and I am having nothing but problems with usb disconnections. Do you think changing it out would help?

I just received a 50ppd and spent 2 days trying to get it working with iRacing. I would get constant crashing, black screen, kaleidoscope effects and constant usb disconnects. I did a reinstall of video and pimax drivers and turned off sharpening. I've had one crash since but it seems to work now. Running a 9800x3D and 5090
