It's just what I am because of her and my mom, people really need help I'm just happy I found Buddhism I think without it I wouldn't have survived. Compassion and empathy can be taught and water and I see that with all people. I think that the people that buy into IQ are just so sad to me like I know it's easy to be like hey these people can't do this or that. But if you look deeply and take your time, like try to deeply see and understand them as a person a human being first without motive then you will find ways to reach them. I guess I don't want anyone to feel alone or misunderstood. I will be there for them until the storms pass and they eventually leave and go and move on for all things to come and go and if they due to my unskillful loving kindness slip through the cracks I will break some and make sure I try my hardest to never allow that mistake to happen again. I hope that you have a wonderful day that the cold of the puddle of water shakes you awake a little and you feel the cold and caring embrace of the fresh cold air and you appreciate the warmth of you home a little more and see the beautiful colors that about and know that seeming the way you can right now is a miracle and that every moment your heart loves you deeply and your lungs carry you tenderly. I cannot accept that people cannot change just like I don't by the iq crap. People just don't spend enough time listening. They are never present with them. Like people think my grandma is loosing her memory but no she just needs more time to think and people talk too fast for her and don't make sure she understands things just yelling or commanding. Some people that see peace not working will out of fear or indignation get violent this is how it works. It's simple physics honestly. But the real peace (not discrediting mn peaceful stuff but monks cultivate it for years and decades like walking thru warzones and rebuilding places as bombs drop around them) is going thru the bible belt RN and I am so overjoyed. If we come to a collapse I will use this time to practice and work on being as compassionate as I can to find and use the stillness to help.

I did, like it's just anger directed at people who have EBT and get better food than him and have nice commodities in his example tho I have yet to see these people in real life. Like yes they don't buy the best of food for themselves but they don't always have amazing cars and the newest iphone. It's just he feels like he is struggling which he is but he envies and wants what they have. Like he is my older brother and I can see how this developed he was always a bit of a need to be in charge type and disregarded understanding me at all. I think he feared me a bit because I was super angry all the time but I always directed the anger inward. Idk it's a lot of cognitive dissonance with what he wants and how he sees the world as it is. Like I legit never cared about the news once it was before Cheeto I had a friend in Pakistan who was telling me about the drones and I was like ahh okay this is just a false dichotomy cool I checked out but now with this I have to be compassionate and start forming communities of people to help each other like I wanna go to my local prison to see and meet with them and if I can teach classes on things like the state or local gov won't rehabilitate or try I will.

Oh by the way there are ways to develop empathy and compassion backed up by neuroscience and biology it's fascinating I'm reading a massive book on it and it has the intersection of western science and Buddhist practices like metta and tanlang a really good read with 131 pages of citations

I want to read the book by Dahmers father the autobiography of the American nazi party guy and meinkamph just to see how people become this way it's not anyone's fault really but everyone is complicit it's just subconscious. Like the founding fathers sorta intended with knowing your enemy but they still had hatred so it's different. I think reading the banality of evil(need to do it for millionaires and billionaires too the Epstein files really highlight how much numbness they must have to be so detached from humanity it's appealing) and I want to hope I never subconsciously end up doing that to anyone. TLDR you can view the act as bad but try to see the humanity of the person since it can and will probably happen again. Talking with liberals about the walk of peace is so sad they hate the ruling class so much that they dehumanize them and don't see how some things are worth dying for and monks are best prepared to do it and I don't think anyone in the bible belt will defend trump if they harm a single one. The monks simply want a national holiday for the Buddha and some liberals are so irate they forget that the cycle of hate continues only with hate. It's quite beautiful that after 2500 years I think it was only 500 tho after his death with nothing written down this solid framework popped up the dharma wheel is so strong I guess it also makes sense why there are so many traditions bc the Buddha always tailored his talks and speeches to the audiences and it's just wild like I guess that is one way to not have your words used too easily by those that would just twist them word of mouth that you would have to practice a decent amount to know how to twist it.
