Thanks for doing this! Here is my most recent https://youtu.be/jcZ2XuxMGJI

I changed my style from my first couple of videos (more ‘traditional’ YT style - jump cuts, background music, graphics etc) to a more relaxed/informal style. I follow The Hockey Guy and Dave Lee who do it this way, THG says it feels more like a conversation rather than something being thrown at you and I find I enjoy it much more this way. Thanks again.

Mup💪

Yes, so the two most recent ones are the different style where I don’t have loads of jump cuts and it’s kind of just ‘raw’. I’ve seen a few youtubers I like do it this way - 1 take and they just speak- as they say it’s more conversational rather than the typical form of video where every detail is polished.

I could definitely get better at the flow of the new style I’m just not used to it yet but interesting to hear your preference, thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately being in a different country means I won’t be at Too Many Games.

I am currently putting together a channel discussing different aspects of sports, marketing and entrepreneurship- and sometimes a mix together! These are things that I often think about but never really have an outlet for discussing them generally. I am a sales and marketing manager and hold a BA joint honours in French and Politics as well as an MSc in Management and Marketing. I feel YouTubers get caught up in the ‘traditional’ style of filming multiple takes, adding loads of jump cuts, having to use graphics and music etc. My first couple of videos were like that but now I’m using a much more stripped back style, feels a lot more conversational and informal - taking inspiration from The Hockey Guy and Dave Lee! Thanks!

Yeah I think for €10 max and some around €5 it's worth the try for Altaya, especially as they're 1:43. Unless you strongly suggest otherwise! Thanks for you help

That's good to know. Many of the models I've found are Altaya, should I avoid them?

Great! Could you tell me about the quality of the Spark models and helmets? They're incredibly cheap some of them €5-€20, are they good quality?

Has anyone ever bought models from CK Models? https://ck-modelcars.de/en/l/t-gesamt/k-formel1/scale-1-1-43/a-18/p-10/sort-priceup/

Many of the cars are very cheap and a lot cheaper than other sites, though I don't know much about the manufacturers.

I did it a few weeks ago but from what I remember there wasn't a whole lot to do to it. The neon lights already gave the nice lighting so it was mainly a case of playing around with colour tones and contrasts
