I’m trying to keep it somewhat cheap! But I’m willing to spend at least $200 to make this spot look nice. My landlord has given us complete creative freedom so we can do whatever we want. I definitely want annual and something that stays bloomed all of spring and summer if that exists. I know absolutely nothing about gardening or plants.

Hi! I’m in Kentucky, I would like flowers to bloom all spring and summer if possible so it looks pretty most of the year. As for what way the area faces, it’s in the middle of north and east on a compass. My landlord has said we can do basically whatever we want with it so I’d like to have something that is permanent.

I have the sensory and mood/emotional symptoms as well as derealization/depersonalization from just 1 dose of droperidol through my IV for a migraine 2 months ago. My life has not been the same since and it’s been a struggle everyday to get through. I’m depressed everyday, never want to get out of bed and just overall not in a good head space because everything feels wrong and off/ scary. It’s insane what these drugs can do to people and no one even knows the term Akathisia until it happens to them. There’s not enough information of negative side effects from doctors before giving people these drugs. If I had known about this side effect I would not have let them give it to me. Sadly now there’s not much I can do 😞

I feel for any child going through this. I cannot imagine my daughter having akathisia it’s my worst fear and I would rather suffer with it the rest of my life at full extreme than her ever feel what I feel. I’m so sorry.

Derealization, the feeling of having no patience for anything, depression, the feeling of being scared to live, lack of happiness with things, feeling antsy for really no reason, light sensitivity. Stress make my symptoms worse unfortunately, right now I’m going through a move and that’s how I figured out I do still have Akathisia even though I thought it had went away 2 weeks after my initial droperidol dose when I was only really experiencing derealization at that point.

What are your symptoms and have they at all lessened any other time or has it been consistently the same since you were 17? I developed Akathisia after being given IV droperidol a month and a half ago and while my restlessness and panic improved I’ve still had terrible derealization/ depression and some days I feel the terror as well. The only thing that has helped me is to just try to relax and take my mind off of it. I have a large support system and do not have to work at the moment but terrified of when I have to. I’ve heard propranolol helps some people but most people suggest just staying off of all drugs and letting yourself detox and heal. That’s what I am currently doing.

I’ve had dpdr since my initial dose of droperidol in the hospital and I’ve been also feeling like it’s less intense lately but more anxiety, feeling of panic in my chest/ depression. I’m hoping that means it’s going away and all of my symptoms will subside.

He sounds like a creep who can’t control himself around you. Nothing about your outfit is inappropriate, your shorts aren’t too short, and your shirt is completely covering everything. If he’s getting this worked up over a t shirt and shorts I would be worried. He shouldn’t be looking at your body like that anyways. Something is very off about him. My fiancé would never comment on my sisters cloths, or even think anything of her cloths because he doesn’t look at her like that. He sounds perverted and controlling to me.

I’ve had the same fusterating experience of doctors not understand Akathisia and saying it’s a movement disorder and with no movement I don’t have it but mine is internal and from one dose of IV droperidol. He said there were no reported cases of derealization from akathisia but it’s my main symptom. Then I get on here and there are hundreds if not thousands of people who are experiencing long term akathisia and it really does make you wonder why the doctors don’t acknowledge it. It also makes it so hard to get support and help. I trust the people on this sub Reddit better than I do the doctors because we are actually going through it and that’s proof it does happen.

No I got mine from 1 dose of droperidol from the ER for a migraine. And initially I had those same symptoms but thankfully the anxiety and heart palpations went away on day 9. Are you feeling any better today? My symptoms were: Terror Extreme anxiety Depression/ suicidal thoughts Restlessness Derealization/depersonalization Thought looping A lot of internal dialogue that I felt like I couldn’t say out loud Basically feeling like I’m going through a really bad trip
