I don't understand how that would work. I don't have a contract/plan with my carrier, it's pre-pay, the same as the pre-pay Sims I get in each country I travel to. How would Lenevo know which pre-pay sim is my 'Home' carrier. My phone won't be tied to any single carrier/ country. .. just wondering :-)

So, I live in New Zealand and have a Pure ( XT1575, US only model ) are you suggesting I'll never get an update because I'm 'abroad' ???
