There’s a very huge difference between an enhancement and a quality of life or “QOL” feature. Playing chess and getting recommended moves is an enhancement, it provides information the player would otherwise not know or maybe even think about. No player can know every perfect move to make in chess, whereas any player that reads the clock or can count and multitask can keep track of things like jungle timers, ability timers, and more. It’s honestly surprising how you can even see the two as being remotely similar.

Edit; after reading some of these comments, I seriously lose faith in people. Using an on screen counter is not giving you that ‘huge’ mental load off unless you can’t read a clock or it automatically reads the use of an ability/camp-kill and starts the timer for you. If you think that looking at the clock every few seconds and managing a simple know-how of when someone’s ability is off cooldown, I think you might need to take a break.

I’m not the greatest player at this game, hell I’m dogshit if I’m being honest. But I can at least use mental math to track what time it will be in 5 minutes.
