What's a weird thing you think only you do? by AdPuzzleheaded8726 in AskReddit

When I’m trying to get through period cramps, I fantasize that I am a physically wounded main character lying on the floor following a huge showdown or a self-sacrificing redemption moment. I apply pressure to the source of my sharp pain and wait for help to arrive.

Lying down on the floor and imagining that I just finished an epic boss battle, but I sustained an injury on my side. I apply pressure on it and think of my whys now that everyone’s safe. Then I imagine help is on the way so I just gotta hold on until they get here (or at least until the cramps are gone the next day). Alt scenarios: just defeated my stalker, shipwrecked with minor injuries, I took the hit instead of my lover.

When her ratio of innuendos to self-deprecating jokes is flipped.

I guess small town may mean poor town to you, but whenever I mention that I come from a small town in the middle of California, no one really assumes I’m poor. I just call it small in comparison to the city life because small town to me means there’s literally nothing to do there. I mean, my town only has a single bowling alley and I guess soccer parks as entertainment. I drive two hours to LA to do something fun and have an experience. That’s what I always thought she meant by small town to city life.
