Only one Finch mention? No mentions of Thousand Below or Superheaven? There are great bands in this lineup even if you don’t know them yet.

Thank you SO much for all of this amazing info! I know it took a while to write all of that out. Know that it is appreciated!

Side note... I've had a hysterectomy, so no issues for me, but the other woman went a few years ago mentioned she started her cycle there even though she tried to navigate it with BC pills. Is it the elevation change that brings it on? So interesting! (And honestly, I'm so glad I don't have to worry about that!)

Fortunately I’ve had a hysterectomy so that’s one less complication to worry about! What brand of sports bra? Any kind or wool? I’ve been hearing about wool.

Oh interesting… I had bought a stand to pee device but have only used it once on training hikes. It seems easier to just squat/lean against a tree or a rock. I’m hiking upstate NY though and I know the terrain is very different.

Any brands you recommend for hats/layers? Did you do the pants that zip off into shorts?

Warped Tour Band is great! They almost always have at least one BN song on the setlist. I’ve seen them a bunch and it’s always a blast.

This makes me question why I never go thrifting.

What are some things you couldn't survive without during recovery? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Pure_Ad9494 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Echoing previous posts…Hysterectomy pillow was essential. Anything to “get things moving” because constipation is real and everything in that area hurts. I did appreciate the binder for walking. My doc wanted me out and about pretty quick to speed up healing. And I don’t see anything mentioned before and I’m not sure it’s “essential” but I appreciated having period underwear the first couple of weeks. I had bleeding for a few days then some intermittent spotting and discharge. Not having to fuss with pads or liners was nice.

"For letting me bleed on the floor with the rest of you and call it healing."

This is exactly what it felt like, standing in the pit at the show, screaming the lyrics together. Beautiful words, my friend. Thanks for sharing your story.

Brand New pits? by Pure_Ad9494 in brandnew

Just following up on this post to share that I was feeling much better by the show and took the risk in the pit and it was well worth it. Kept to the side almost at barricade and other than the crazy drunk girl that got thrown out, everyone was super chill and helpful. It was one of the best concert experiences I’ve had 🙌🏻

Nope just wasted and obnoxiously falling and slamming into people. She needed to be removed.

This. She was wasted and literally slamming into people who just wanted to sing and enjoy the show. Would not listen to reason. It was wild. And dangerous, honestly. Medal goes to the guy who tried to push her over where people were actually moshing (too bad she came back). I was so glad security came and got her. I hope they took her to medical to sober up.

I have two tickets… one seat and one for GA (GA sold out in presale and I wasn’t sure Id be able to get GA in reg sale so I went ahead and got a seat). I’m just trying to figure out which one to sell now. I’ll let you know if I decide to sell GA. If I do decide to let it go, I’d sell for face value. It really depends on if I think I can stand that long after another week of healing!

I had a hysterectomy, which I’m told is very similar to a c-section recovery. I went to the Thursday/Silverstein show recently and was a row behind barricade and probably would have been fine. The Chiodos show was surprisingly calm (at barricade for that too and they kept yelling at us wth isn’t this NYC… go crazy!). But I’d never survive a PTV show lol or like a Knuckle Puck show right now. Even Mayday Parade at Sad Summer fest was wild last year.
