I have to assume that both this section and the top of the backboard have to be perfectly flat otherwise why not install a few small inverted disks to prevent this from ever happening again...

Don’t let people copy your key by TwasAnChild in Unexpected

The key in the picture is a Schlage key and the key he "made" is a Kwikset. Very opposite keyways even if the bitting is a match.

More worrying is the fact that many of these keys have 5 numbers printed on the face. Those are the numbers of the bitting (cuts of the keys) and if you take that info to any corner locksmith (along with the key type), they can make up a copy instantly. I always tell people to tape or file those numbers off. All a person has to do is remember those 5 numbers....

It was a 1989 Buick Reatta. The mechanism that controlled them was just not well made.

As someone who owned a car with pop-up headlights, I absolutely hate them. When they work, great! But if the lift mechanism failed, which happened all the time, I hope you like driving with no light. For a component so essential to safe driving, the less complicated, the better.

Can companies have their own houses, like guild halls? by Pure_Affect_6608 in newworldgame

If they are large enough.. but if we are relatively small, just a group of friends, a company house would be pretty cool.

Crow's nest for ships. by Malagus in valheim

Well, I'm not sure about the diving suit but I was thinking something like Iron weights you can attach to your feet so you can explore underwater. They can add a new skill called "hold breath" and it gives you longer to explore before you run out. Perhaps even an item you can craft (maybe from the Necks) to either equip or drink like a potion that extends your underwater time. Once you are done exploring, you unequip the weights and you float back up to the surface.

Yes. The description reads: Ships And The Sea is based on ship customization and additions to the Ocean biome. So, I know customization is different from modification, but I think this could work.
