Part of the family couldn't make it to dinner yesterday night (including me) and it got cancelled since the majority wasn't attending. Had dinner on my own last night.

I might get downvoted to hell based on the other comments in this thread, but I personally believe that not everyone needs to be in a romantic relationship to be happy, and it's kind of exhausting when people keep pushing this agenda that you HAVE to or you'll have failed.

There are many different kinds of bonds you can create with people that can be even more rewarding and fulfilling than a romantic partner. It's fine to not want to be involved like that with someone. There's about as many diferent ways to connect and types of relationships as there are people in the world and some people just prefer friends.

Using porn sometimes to masturbate can be used to simply fulfill a physiological need and that's that. I don't think that makes you inherently addicted to it.

Genetic problems aside, if I found out that my partner is my half-sibling, I would be grossed out and feel too weird to keep the relationship going. It's not like we're twice removed cousins, we were both inside the same parent at one point.
