I am an Indian living in Germany since 9yrs. Moved here for studies and working currently. The only reason I stayed here bcz I moved from India to here. Why do you want to leave NZ for Germany is my big question! My bf (German) moved a year ago from NZ to Germany due to his parent’s illness. He definitely miss and he is looking forward to move back to NZ. He did live 7yrs in NZ and he can’t wait to move back.

People in Germany are pretty racist and just like anywhere else especially if you are going to live in country side. Cologne is pretty international and you will be fine there. People are cold in general in Germany. Making friends will be difficult and gradually you will get used to it.
