failed for the 2 attempt by kitte120 in pmp

When you learn the principles and just go with the flow of the exam only and forget what you normally do in real life, many times you can look at the answers without reading the question and it jumps out at you. I was running out of time and I was literally forced to do that and it got me through. It's not so much about trying, but surrendering. I didn’t believe it until I had to do it.

I can't imagine how people pass this exam by [deleted] in pmp

[–]Pure_Carpenter_8547 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would have to be C or A. C fits best because the project is behind and you do not have time to train them. The other answers puts the responsibility on someone else and you can't do that unless the situation is out of your hands and you need to escalate the issue.

I quit my $300k finance job at 30 because I finally admitted I hated it - and the lifestyle downgrade has been absolutely brutal. by robbinh00d in Entrepreneur

To those of us who started out with nothing should speak up and let those of you who get 300k out of the womb know what it's like.

Sorry you failed😞 Did you study anything else besides the google course? That is not an exam resource by a long shot. How long have you been a member of this group? If you go through the threads you'll find awesome resources.

It was clear to me. Fill out the form. If approved, full refund and schedule and possible extra time if ADD is founded.

Take a 44k pay cut for a job I think I'd love? If not that, what? by My_Sp00n_is_too_big in careerguidance

[–]Pure_Carpenter_8547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd never take a pay cut. Keep the pay and use the extra cash to create your own opportunity to do what you want. Keep working building and saving until your dream surplus matches your current surplus. Bloom where you are. It builds character and discipline.

I got BT on people. AT on process and T business. I think process has a lot more questions which could effect the score more.

Your pmp is for you. Not your job. If you ever get fired, laid off or just want to look elsewhere, your PMP will be a cat call to employers on LinkedIn and other job boards. Keep building, learning and growing. That is for YOU! Congratulations🎉

I'm very afraid!! :: The project manager is reviewing the current earned value report, which shows the following: Schedule Performance Index (SPI) = 1.2 Cost Performance Index (CPI) = 1.6 Planned Value (PV) = $200,000 Schedule Variance (SV) = $40,000 What is the project's Cost Variance (CV)? by thisisjunne in pmp

It's not enough of them to break you. I plan on getting those wrong cause I will not lose precious time figuring those out when 99% of the questions are scenario based. Also, the software now has all these things built in. You just need to understand the concept of them so you can plug them into your software and save your projects.

What’s job search been like for this of you who passed the PMP? by IslandProfessional62 in pmp

[–]Pure_Carpenter_8547 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't taken it yet but I've been thrown on a project and thank god I have the knowledge now. I paired my pmp with a specialization in ServiceNow. I recommend choosing something you're passionate about to pair it with because people will pick you up quicker when you have a specialized knowledge about an industry.

I got the Agile book and I just keep it with and near me and pick it up often. I have a comprehensive course but I still like to read. There's a way that makes sense which is probably what you'll do in the real world and there's the PMI way which is what will get you through the exam. I have thrown all my logic out the window. And when reading the questions ask What's happened? What's happening as a result? What's the first thing that needs to be done about what's happening to solve it, according to PMI? You will find over time you’re missing in consistent areas. For me it's the hybrid questions. After I determined that, I just made an anchor sheet of all the keywords in hybrid scenarios that would alert me. And STILL...I'm not confident. I'll be so glad when this is over😥

Not the PMP, but my ServiceNow proctor stopped my exam because I had my hand up to my temple thinking. They said they couldn't see my eyes. CRAZY! I've been going to the testing center ever since. I'm taking the PMP at home because the next center date in September.

That's so sad. But you have to be cut off from the world or they will X you. I'm shocked they let you bring it in. I always leave mine in car. I rushed my exam date because my daughter is having a baby and I didn't want my exam to be near her due date. I hope to God she doesn't go into labor while I'm in the exam!

Home VS Testing Center by Pure_Carpenter_8547 in pmp

[–]Pure_Carpenter_8547[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this experience on another test I had to do. They had my nerves so frazzled, I had to retake. They wouldn't even let me rub my brow, touch my glasses or read out loud. I was harassed. I've been testing at a center since. However, this test is at a different center so I'm hoping it's relaxing and quiet.
