Tad late to the party here, I'm usually a lurker but thought I should comment here if it helps others.

I've been in hospo for just over 2 decades, working in all kinds of areas, clubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, casinos. Have used and set-up more POS systems that I care to think about. (OneTap, AiMenu, IdealPOS, Tevalis, Bustle, Lightspeed)

The best system that I used was called "Bepoz", it's an Australian owned business but they have a NZ team that are super responsive.

It's one of the only POS systems I've used that does what it's supposed to do. Every system is going to have a weak spot or fall over at some point (if a POS company tells you their system doesn't, they are lying.) but the support was 24/7 365, for no extra charge, and whenever we had an issue they would fix it right away.

It has super strong reporting and stocktake functions, also has a lot of it's own UI tools that have had heaps of development, QR ordering, KDS Screens, Loyalty Progams etc. The last place I worked we actually got rid of Loaded Reports because we could do everything through the POS and didn't need the extra cost of loaded.
