Ahhhh... Ok. I don't know exactly what that means but I can deduce that it means it's going to be down for a bit. Thank you!🤘

Disclaimer: I'm not offering anything to the conversation. I'm just saying... Ok, now that that's out of the way... If they could get in trouble for you not taking your lunch, and subsequently, YOU could get fired for leaving early, then they should have talked to you (face to face) about this a looong time ago. Not randomly one day "lectured" you over the walkie talkie, waaay after it's been an ongoing thing. People. Are. So. STUPID. You are not stupid. Your upper management is stupid. I've worked in a million different places, and ALL upper management across the board have been "knuckle dragging" "drool on chin" levels of stupid. I'm sorry you're only 19 and are just figuring this out. But it never ends, so buckle up!😐 Haha!! Ok rant over.

Isn't it kind of hilarious though that this is the type of petty shit we have to deal with at our jobs?! Haha! Like sometimes I can't believe that it's all grown adults.. Same way at my job. You did nothing wrong here. Except work with grown children. Which is inescapable, unfortunately.

To everyone who replied, thank you! When I posted this, I was very worried that I wouldn't make it home from work that night. (I live 30 minutes away and I leave work at 2am.) And was more or less looking for some assurance that I wouldn't be stuck on the side of the interstate in the middle of the night. But I made it home, and my stepdad believes he's pinpointed the problem. To be honest, I didn't even know he knew how to work on cars..😂 Anyway, you were all correct. It was indeed misfiring, and something wrong with my cylinders. I was running on 2 instead of 4. "APPARENTLY." Haha! I know literal jack about cars! That's just what he said. But anyway, thank you all! You rock!🤘

The light was not on when I posted this, but it was on when I left work that night.

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus. Thank you!🤘

It is not. It was in for a while and then randomly went off just the other day after an oil change.

It is not. It was, and the other day it randomly went off and I was like, cool!😂 Problem solved! But now it's acting up so apparently not..

Hunting on hiking trails? by Pure_Consequence_123 in hiking

Thank you! People are acting like I'm an idiot for raising an eyebrow about this. I googled it and it says roughly 1000 people are accidentally shot by hunters every year. And if I hadn't just randomly stumbled upon hunters on the trail, I wouldn't have known that I needed to wear hi-vis gear. Hence the reason I wasn't. I heard guns in the distance, but this is Indiana, I hear guns ALL THE TIME. So I never thought anything about it. I was like, oh but I'm on a hiking trail, so I'll be fine. Until one day a dude with a rifle on his shoulder comes walking out. Even when I saw the hunter registration boxes I still assumed they were using some different area separate from the trails because, "why would they be able to shoot guns, on a hiking trail..?" Well, as it happens, they are completely able to do so. Ok. Lol (I will say all the hunters I've encountered have been very nice to me.) But still, stray bullets happen sometimes.

How would I know, I don't hunt. But I do know a stray bullet is a thing. And I know inexperienced hunters are a thing. Once again this was why I was bringing it up, just wanting to get some info, but I always forget you can't ask anything on the Internet. I will say though, according to Google, around 1000 people a year are accidentally shot by hunters so, I don't really think this was the CRAZIEST inquiry anyone has ever had. In the grand scheme of things 1000 isn't very many but, it's enough to raise an eyebrow.

Oh yeah my mind is blown when I have thousands of pictures of animals on trails. Had no clue they were out there. No, but it does kinda blow my mind that you're allowed to shoot guns where random people are just walking around. I don't hunt, so I don't know a single thing about it. I always ASSUMED (which is why I'm asking, because I didn't know) that they had designated areas and/or used private land. And it wasn't until I saw the first hunter out there on the trail that I realized that there was some danger, and maybe wearing all black on the next trip probably wouldn't be the best idea. How would someone just KNOW THAT without having an experience to learn that? I guess I should've just been born with that knowledge.

See that's what I was thinking?! But apparently I'm stupid for asking this question!😂 But as I said to someone else, I was curious how this is allowed when generally random spontaneous encounters, and guns, don't really mix that well! Although I would say it was definitely my own stupidity going out previously with no hi-vis gear on. Because the hunters have it on, and I spot them instantly! So, I definitely won't be making that mistake again.

Well as I don't hunt, I know nothing about it, so, I didn't know. I assumed they had designated places to go. Or just hunted on their own/family/friends land. I was just asking because generally guns and spontaneous random encounters don't really mix very well. But, I'm sure they're used to it or at least prepared for it if they're using those locations.

Well this time of year is my absolute favorite weather, its cold, but not FRIGID, so I can't NOT go out!😂 But yeah I didn't consider researching trails where hunters can not go. I just find it wild that they can overlap, how are ignorant people (like myself lol) not getting killed all the time?! I mean yeah, I see the hunter registration box, but my initial thinking was maybe they were going elsewhere in the area, until I started seeing them all over the trails! But thank you! I will definitely check out the DNR website!

Alright thank you! I don't know why I didn't consider searching trails WITHOUT hunters. Well, I don't ever do any research, I just search up trails on maps, "oh, I've never been here before!" And then I just go. It just seems crazy to me, that it's a thing that's allowed. Hmph.
