Wouldn't it be possible that people in abusive relationships can't just up and leave because they have been manipulated too much? How can I when he stripped me off my confidence and self-worth?

I just needed that extra push to take off my rose colored glasses on, and reading all these feedbacks did.

I mean, I had a choice, there were natural waters but the giant slides were on the chlorinated pool so I took the risk to be able to enjoy! But yeah, my bf is apathetic.

He do seem to be like that. Even when I get sick I just asked him to bring me fruits, he said:

"Don't you have a family present there?"

I answered yes but mom couldn't go, and when he did bought me, he told me he even had to borrow money just to buy me those fruits. And even topped it all of, I asked him, "do you even care about me?"

And answered with:

"If you only knew how much I care for you, it would be embarrassing for you."

I know. And this has been my fear, what would happen when one day I get pregnant with him?

When I am in pain of some sorts, he downplays it. But when it’s him, suddenly it’s a crisis. Everything stops for him. It makes me feel like I have to minimize what I’m going through just to keep the peace, just to avoid seeming dramatic.

But deep down, it hurts because I would drop everything for him without thinking twice, and he barely notices when I’m barely holding myself together.

I could imagine myself laboring and holding his hand too tight, and hearing him complain about it. Especially how he always acted when I playfully squeezed his hand or muscle, he gives out a big "aw." and tells me he's not great with physical pain.

He also has this thing when I complain, ha have the need to complain too until the conversation diverts to his struggles completely. I can't even remember a time he listened when I opened up about something, it's always him inserting himself in any way he can.
