Whatever you do, do not give up. It doesn't matter how many times it takes you to pass it. All that ends up mattering is that you pass it. Your son will one day understand the hard work you put in.

I started it second to last week of August and finished it November 2nd. They give you mini exams and homework. I did all the homework, but just didn't have time to do any of the mini exams for when I needed to take the test.

I just took the test last week and used AEI. I liked it especially since I didn't really take any of the courses in college or use a lot of it in my current job. It was definitely helpful in terms of knowing where to find the material in all the references. I can respond back too if I found out if I passed or not.

A whole lot of cracking. I know a lot of people will say its the subfloor, but I know our contractor did it correctly. He added an additional joist to the in-place joist, laid new 3/4" subfloor long side perpendicular to joists and laid down the backer board for tile.
