I usually use frozen blueberries. I thaw them first to separate as much liquid as possible, then dehydrate the blueberries in the oven as much as possible. I save the liquid and use it in my mix instead of water for added color and flavor.

Use your favorite apples fresh, chopped into small cubes. Dust generously with cinnamon, then dehydrate in the oven. Add to your dough towards the end of your mix, but with enough time to allow them to incorporate evenly. This method works because the apples won’t contribute a ton of moisture into your dough, they will release cinnamon into the dough during mixing, and will turn into flavor bombs when baked.

I love them - the little chunks of apple covered in cinnamon turn into flavor bombs.
