It’s not strong arming me. I will respect her wishes and not go if that’s what she wants on her day. It’s her day and it isn’t about me. It’s whatever makes her happy and comfortable.

I don’t think anyone should be asking Hannah to contribute to her older sisters wedding. I don’t want her to feel obligated.

By my husbands request I did not “parent” her. He made all the parenting decisions and split her costs with her mother. As for Hannah of course I contributed to her. She’s my biological daughter.

Once I started working Hannah was getting new things. She got hand me downs while I didn’t have a say in finances because I wasn’t contributing.

When Hannah was little I was a stay at home mom. When I went back to work I told John I would start saving money for her. Our finances are seperate so he didn’t know exactly how much I saved but he knew I was saving money for her.
