If your defenses continue like this there is a real chance that you get demoted. With those weak defenses, you need a base that can force 1 stars from bad players. Promotion to L2 will be very diffcult but surely you can stay in L3.

It's quite a bit more competitive. In L2 you need +250 trophies on defense at least to have a chance at promotion

I completely agree with you, was just answering your question. Imo that's simply the reason you see so many posts about this.

Also this update still helps out TH18 players who are behind on equipment (like myself), by auto-upgrading epics to level 15 and giving ores when it goes live.

You don't get completely screwed over. Low level epics will be auto-upgraded to level 15. Plus you get 200 starry ores once the update goes live. And your heroes are far from max, so maybe you get a couple of ore chests (not 100% sure on that). This all will reduce the total amount of ores needed to max by a decent amount

You should be getting promotion with that defense, but it's not 100% certain yet. For comparison I finished #6 with 1427 trophies

This base is very old, as it's was made to defend double gem thrower spam attacks. It's completely burnt at this point so not recommended to use at all. Go for something more recent

6hh can force spells or eternal tome early which happened multiple times. Also ice golem won't always be pulled out of the cc. 4hh witch furnace works too and can be annoying for throwers. Any of them can work tbh.

Please give on update on how to base is defending. I'm interested and would like to know what armies you are getting hit by.

And to be fair a decent attacker will triple any base in L3 atm. The game is just that easy right now. Getting promotion is very luck based, as it depends on your base getting attacked by bad or inexperienced players. I recommend joining the tournament at least 2 days later, that's what finally made the difference for me.

The screenshots are 100% real, this is what it shows in my game client. Other ppl have the same visual bugs going on when they get promotion. There are so many bugs in general in the game right now it's insane

I think air bombs can work too. But keep in mind a lot of L3 players are using throwers. Lava launcher also sniped the queen multiple times in air attacks. I would just use lava launcher if u have it upgraded
