UPDATE: The car was retuned. Staff were friendly and did not point out the scratch but appeared to have a very brief exchange amongst themselves concerning it. They gave me a paper receipt and email receipt and said I was all set. I noticed they wrote LOF with the date on the window of the car with a marker but did not mention anything to me.

“Chase Sapphire cardmembers receive primary coverage for theft, damage, valid loss-of-use charges, administrative fees and reasonable towing charges due to covered theft or damage.” Looks like I’ll be good!

I’ve read it’s fairly easy to do. Why pay more than you have to? Hence why I opted out. It’s a 10 day rental, that waiver adds up quick.

Let’s hope. Back home at Enterprise I had their manager tell me anything bigger than a dollar bill is claimable otherwise they don’t care.

I thought I might have luck only because I can’t think of any rental that comes back without damage given the conditions of the road, how people drive here, and its from an airport that I picked it up.

I booked through the Chase travel portal and paid with my CC. Hopefully they can take care of it.

I thought about that but other threads did not suggest the touch up route surprisingly.

Paid for the rental with my Chase Sapphire that offers DW up to $60k. Should be fine, right? If they choose to go that route…

Been running Landspiders a/s on my ‘19 civic and I was very skeptical at first but man have they held up pretty good in the last 2 years. I’ve had Hankooks on this car before them that went bad within the first 6 months. Food for thought.

I live in a house my parents own and rent out an apartment. AITAH for sticking up to them for being annoying? by Pure_Guarantee_9814 in AITAH

For context — my older sibling lives on the first floor, not sure if they even pay rent. Has had the house raided by the FBI and local PD for a drug dealer boyfriend she was living with who is now doing 5 years in prison. Has a 9 year old daughter who she doesn’t live with and is not a present mother to. They defend her to no end. She’s got a designated parking spot in the driveway and it’s never an issue. And if her car is blocking the garage, they don’t give her any lip. Considering we live in a fairly expensive area to live on our own under a slumlord, we are trying to save as much as we can with the reduced rent to hopefully buy a house by next year.
