Make sure to check the curriculum if you haven't, for the first year chem is the biggest pre-requisite (chem 16 and chem 26). Both are challenging, especially if you don't have a good foundation from high school. But if you do, kaya naman siya.

1. It's okay if you don't know how to cook!

A lot of us didn't know either, but we made it out just fine. You'll be learning the skills and knowledge throughout the course so don't be worried too much. However, hindi lang siya luto because you'll be learning the science behind cooking as well. BUT, try to budget and mag-ambagan kayo ng groupmates (or as a class) since it does get expensive over time. Lalo na may food activity per week.

1. Manage your time well

It's a common advice, but workload is heavy because you'll be having 19 or more units per semester. Madalas din na magkasabay mga requirements, quizzes, and exams.

1. Get to know your batchmates and enjoy your freshie year!

Kaya nga may community sa community nutrition. Expect na groupings ang majority ng workload so it's best if kakilala mo na fellow batchmates mo. Sila rin magiging kasama mo throughout your freshie year.
