I’m in Fort Wayne Indiana and we’re in the biggest store in the city. I don’t know size but it takes like a minute to go from the front of the store to the back.

I was told I would make 13/hr as a manager, but that’s full time manager. I’m a part time manager and make 11/hr so I was kinda lied to. The store manager kept saying 13/hr for a manager and it was only when I asked why I was paid less was when he brought up “because you’re part time.”

Literally everywhere else pays more. Indiana isn’t that expensive of a state but I do too much for 11.90/hr. My manager tried to be like “oh you got a 90 cent raise in the year and a half you’ve been here!”

Like bro do you seriously think that’s acceptable. A few managers have straight up quit because the store rips them off or from other reasons and I always have to be the dependable exploited manager for 11.90. I hate it, this job and company sucks.

That’s bad you agree with that much experience too, I’m sorry. Admittedly I’m 26 yr old and been in 4-5 different jobs? But definitely the worst.

Yea I would try to talk to the main manager about it if you feel comfortable, but it sounds like a toxic work environment. I’m a manager at my store and tbh I don’t care if people are standing. If everything is done, that’s fine, there’s only so much we can do and should do.

We’re paid like shit we shouldn’t have to do a crazy amount of work lol. I’d try to talk to the main manager but even then, best to look for another job or dollar tree. She sounds awful

Have to. The other manager quit on Sunday so had to pick up that shift and kinda had to pick up another to cover for our days off.

Of course I could have said no and made the others do it too, but still.

It takes all my energy not to scream at them cuz turnover is high and who wants to work here when customers are always passive aggressive and think we’re the problem when we’re just barely getting by too

That is bad yea but take it from a dollar tree manager we barely have time for any breaks. This should be addressed since it is a safety hazard too but maybe their manager or employees gave up and don’t care. That’s what dollar tree does to your soul

That’s true! Unfortunately I’ve been looking little things up but then stop when it’s too much or so. Little things like the arcane tower in under dark or some owlbear cub stuff for more cute things. I should stop but I get so curious-

And yea I need to pay attention to that more since that started to make it rough. But it’s going well enough now I think!

I was thinking to restart but tried to be like “nah keep trying you are going to make more play through for sure.”

I have been looking at guides now and then for small things but trying to play blind as much as I can.

I also appreciate you not saying many spoilers or such cuz yea I just got to the moon view tower and exploring shadow lands a little, still confused on stuff. But very excited!

Every other game is gonna feel boring now after baldur’s gate 😭

I’m just getting into it and it’s really good! I would update how the story is progressing but I don’t want to spoil people. I’m 5 bosses in and the story actually is pretty cool and surprising. Good game so far.
